A Turrent Triple Play Cigars

The new A. Turrent Puro Maduro is named 'Triple Play' because the entire blend from wrapper, binder, to long fillers, is comprised of fine, hand-selected maduro tobaccos. An ultra-premium San Andrés Morrón wrapper surrounds a blackened Connecticut Broadleaf binder and long fillers from Nicaragua, San Andres, and Honduras. Alejandro Turrent, fifth generation of the famed cigar-making family and one of the industry's rising young stars, created the outstanding new medium-bodied smoke in Honduras at the acclaimed La Flor de Copan factory. The Triple Play is packaged in a matte black box of 21 cigars.
Alejandro Turrent and his father Alberto own Mexico's largest cigar tobacco operation - Nueva Matacapan de Tabacos S.A. de C.V - and make the famous Te-Amo brand. Alejandro joined the 111-year-old family business when he was about 25 year old and is now the company's president. Though the company is vertically integrated, keeping the control from the tobacco in the fields to the end of the process, they have expanded their cigar blends to include imported tobaccos from other regions such as Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua.
