The Oliva Cain Cigars are a triple-fremented all-ligero cigar that was released in August of 2009. The inspiration for the blend is the motto of straight ligero.These cigars have a variety of ligero tobaccos from several regions of popular tobacco farms in Esteli, Condega, and the Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua. Making a Straight Ligero cigar requires a unique understanding of the leaf. Ligero comes from the top of the tobacco plant. Its direct exposure to the sun darkens and thickens this leaf. Smaller than leaves lower on the plant, it also enjoys a concentration of nutrients. Habano Seed Ligero is recognized as the most full flavored leaf on a plant.Oliva Cain Cigars are a powerhouse blending triple fermented all ligero cigar. Sam Leccia, who is known for his famous Nub cigars, created this straight ligero with the goal of creating a full bodied smoke that is smooth from all ligero. These Cain cigars have a variety of ligero tobaccos from different regions of well known tobacco farms in Condega, Esteli plus the Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua. The Oliva Cain line of cigars is available in Double Toro, Toro, Robusto, and Torpedo sizes. Cain cigars come in two wrappers. Maduro and Habano. Cain Maduro cigars have been tasted and reviewed and the overwhelming consensus about the cigars is that they are very full bodied yet smooth. The Cain Habano cigars are slightly milder than the Maduro with a distinctive flavorful medium to full bodied smoke.
