The construction of this cigar is top notch with an impeccable fill. The RyJ holds a full and even light after being toasted on the foot. The pre light draw is characterized by well done woody undertones. Its draw is excellent with the timeless RyJ flavor strongly familiar. The entire cigar can be said to be woody in flavor and more so towards the finish. Its body is medium although some connoisseurs describe it as light bodied. Throughout the entire smoke, the RyJ is extremely smooth and very consistent though it had slight spicy undertones. Its burn is also even and requires no relighting whatsoever.
The RyJ is a cigar that can be said to be very straightforward and just what a starting cigar enthusiast will find utterly refreshing. Its flavor is consistent with the construction and burn displaying high quality workmanship. These are qualities that any self indulging cigar smoker out there would find very appealing.
